Personalized Videos

Unwarranted emails and messages are very quickly becoming the new cold call. Every day it’s harder to get engagement from these types of messages, even if people signed up for something that justifies them. Everyone is tired of the same old, mundane marketing tactics- which is why I want to tell you about one of my personal favorite up and coming video marketing tactics that will take your interactions to the next level! Have you ever thought about using personalized videos for your interactions?

Video does a great job at creating a personal connection, right? So what better way to utilize video than during the part of the marketing process where creating that personal connection is the hardest! 1:1 communication with personalized videos instead of simple text can give you drastically improved results in replies and engagement. But the key is not to make one video and put it in all of your messages. While that can help, 1:1 video focuses on sending a directly personalized video message using names and all!

Say my name

It’s important to use the name of the individual you’re sending the video to. This will ensure them that this video was made for them, and them alone. You can take it as far as writing their name on a whiteboard. Then you can capture a still image to use as the video thumbnail to intrigue them to click play. Regardless of how you incorporate their name, just make sure it is incorporated. We all know that time is money and money is precious! Since your video is directly personalized, they know they won’t be wasting their time on information that doesn’t pertain to them. These types of videos give people a real reason to hear what you have to say.

We’ll go into the best establishing practices for one-to-one video communication in another blog, but for now, try 1:1 videos with some of your established clients. See what they think! I’d love to hear how it works out for you!
